June 2024 Community Newsletter

Welcome

We are so glad you’ve chosen to live in Quartet. Our community is under development and each month we will send out a newsletter via email to update residents on what’s going on in the neighborhood, or remind you about rules, and share information. Please encourage neighbors to sign up for the newsletters as well, so they can stay updated. Please reach out to Management at hoa@brightoncorp.com should you have any questions. We are looking forward to working with you all in building this beautiful community.

Pool Update

We’re getting closer every day on the completion of the pool and clubhouse. We’ve got some inspections we still need to go through for our certificate of occupancy, and we also have some internet, security setup, furniture, and additional pieces that are still coming together. We don’t anticipate making July 4th, but it should not be long after. We do intend to coordinate a fun event, so please stay tuned for information to come. We greatly appreciate everyone’s patience.

Phase 1 Mailboxes

The permanent mailboxes for the first phase are being constructed near the clubhouse. Homeowners have asked what this process is going to be like. First we have to finish construction. It will look like the phase two structure. Once that’s complete, we’ll have to get the boxes all setup with the post office and then coordinate the transition of the boxes and delivery. It will take some time to work with the post office and set all this up. As soon as we have confirmed dates, we’ll send a notice out to let people know when this is going to occur. Once the transition is all completed, the temporary boxes will be removed.

Fireworks

If your celebration is going to include fireworks, please be sure to know what is legal or not and the best ways to handle them. Aerial fireworks are illegal to shoot off in Idaho, although you can purchase them legally in the state. Aerial fireworks have a risk of starting wildfires and causing injuries. we have many areas under construction which lends to more concerns. We don’t want any accidents in the community, so please use extreme caution and follow these TIPS. Please also, clean up after yourselves. Even safe and sane fireworks can leave messes in yards and the street. Be sure to appropriately soak and dispose of any messes. Common areas may not be used to light off fireworks. Also, please be aware that neighbors and animals may not all like fireworks, so keep to reasonable timing. We greatly appreciate everyone’s consideration, and hope you have a very safe and enjoyable holiday!

Annual Meeting

Thank you all who attended the annual meeting. If you were not able to join us, you may view the minutes online. You may also reach out at anytime should you have any questions or concerns.

Parking

Please remember to use your garage for parking first before storage or anything else. If your garage is full of the number of automobiles for which it is designed, then you can use the driveway for parking. Street parking should be used last. Also, recreational items like boats, campers, atvs, and trailers may not be out for longer than 24 hours. They should be stored offsite and not in view.

Signs and Flags

There are specific rules regarding signs and flags for the community. If you are thinking of putting out a sign or flag, please be aware of these rules found in the ACC Guidelines:

Upcoming Events

We’re always looking for volunteers to help organize fun events in the community. If you’re interested, please reach out to Ann Marie hoa@brightoncorp.com.
